Ghost Rider TV Series in the Works at Marvel

MCU: Exciting news for Marvel fans! A new Ghost Rider TV series is in the works, bringing the fiery anti-hero back to the screen.

It’s the same as Lobo over on the DC side; both are incredibly popular characters who, with the perfect casting and script, would do insane numbers. Reminder: They had a perfectly good Ghost Rider on Agents of Shield; they were going to give him a show, and then they just didn’t for some reason.

Some time ago, Marvel Studios cancelled the Ghost Rider series that was literally 10 days away from going into production a few years back. I was so hyped for the Punisher showrunner doing the GR series with Gabriel Luna.

We got Ghost Rider in Agents of Shield, which was fantastic, but it has never been touched by the MCU studios. The fact that they made him 10x weaker than his comic book counterpart but was still the most powerful badass on the show just shows why he has such a huge fanbase.

Series 4 of Marvel’s Agents of Shield was tremendous. The Golden Age of TV. The stories, including Ghost Rider, Aida/Madam Hydra, The Darkhold, Russian Submarines, LMDs, and The Framework, were developed superbly without overcomplication. Loved it!

Now, please use practical effects and real locations. Tell the writers to forget any MCU movies or shows they’ve seen.
