Wizards of Waverly Place Sequel: Trailer Review
TV Series – Wizards of Waverly Place Sequel: Trailer Review. The magic of the original show was the amazing script writing; I hope they kept that.
But is it just me, or do these types of shows not hit the same without the laugh tracks in the background to match the intended funny moments? There’s a bit of awkwardness in this trailer.
Well, there is one at the end of the trailer after the dishes joke, but not in the other 3 comedic moments of the trailer prior. So… I’m not sure, but even they think they’re supposed to, I suppose, just not consistently. Actors pause for the laugh tracks in these types of shows, which is why it feels awkward because there’s nothing there.
Wizards of Waverly Place Sequel: Trailer Review
The thing that made Wizards special was freaking Selena Gomez‘s comedy, and since that is missing, I fear this might be like the iCarly revival. It’s kind of sad that the magic effects looked better in the original, and that was in the early 2000s. But it might just be nostalgia and my love for the show clouding my judgment.
I’m liking where this is going so far! In my opinion, Justin left wizarding for some reason to have a normal life with his family when suddenly Alex came to him for help to teach Billie about magic and to be a better wizard! Can’t wait to see the show!
I wonder if Justin’s kids will develop magic, just like in the original show the siblings got their powers even though Jerry gave up his magic when he married Teresa. Until Billy comes, they don’t seem to have anything to do with magic, so did Justin block their powers or do they get them later?
I think they will get their powers. Billie and Roman are the same age, so he should get them soon. But, that’ll be a S2 plot, assuming they get an S2, which I think they will. The original wizards of Waverly Place were my childhood. So I am beyond excited about the show!
