This exploration of social dynamics adds another layer of complexity to the narrative. Are apes simply mimicking human flaws, or are they forging their own unique path? The film doesn’t provide easy answers, instead prompting viewers to consider these questions themselves.

This epic movie also succeeds at building suspense. The young ape’s journey is fraught with danger, with both internal and external threats constantly looming. Will he be able to reconcile his past with the future of his species? The film keeps you guessing until the very end.

Updates:

‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ opens with $129m worldwide. Biggest opening ever for the franchise. This movie was great, I’m excited for the future of this new installment of the franchise. Very glad to see the success. The franchise has been phenomenal.

This movie rocks. The storytelling was right and it wasn’t afraid to take risks. It reminded me of what the standard of blockbusters used to be. Better than Dune in my opinion. It’s a must watch in premium format but if you prefer silly action over great worldbuilding and acting perhaps it’s not for you. It’s as good as rise way superior to dawn and war for me.
