Logan (2017): Hugh Jackman’s Defining Role

Cinema: Logan (2017). Hugh Jackman‘s Defining Role. I really loved the gritty take on Wolverine‘s character. Still couldn’t digest that emotional ending, man. Even a grown man will shed tears.

Laura (X-23). The only thing that can help a tired Wolverine is another Wolverine. There’s no one else he can trust but himself (or her, in this case). One of the best superhero movies to ever. I haven’t watched this since the theater, but it was still an awesome comic book movie.

Logan (2017): Hugh Jackman's Defining Role

This movie is all about pain; I like it. The action sequences all look so brutal. A dystopian world with Professor X with Alzheimer’s was peak screenwriting gold.

Ryan Reynolds says LOGAN (2017) is “potentially the greatest comic book adaptation ever made.” Do you agree? It’s not, but it’s close. I’d say ‘The Dark Knight’ slightly beats it out in my opinion. It’s close between those two for me. Joker and Logan were two approaches that took the comic book universe to a whole new level.

Logan (2017): Hugh Jackman Defining Role

Logan is arguably the greatest comic book adaptation to film on the big screen ever made. It was dark, dystopian, and more visceral than most, if not all, other comic book adaptations. Brilliant, though hard to see Logan old, sick, and dying when we are so used to him healing instantly.

The mixing of part of old man Logan and the death of Logan work so well. We got a serious comic book movie that we deserve.

Father, Protector, Savage: The Complexities of Logan (2017)

I really liked this movie; it gave more of a realism to Wolverine and Professor X; they weren’t invincible, but they were highly effective against normal people. Laura (X-23) is awesome; I hope she’s in more MCU movies. Laura was more dangerous than Logan in this movie. We need more of her in a new movie, but as a grown girl.

Hugh Jackman delivers a career-defining performance in Logan (2017).

I’ve always loved how Laura (X-23) was the Marvel answer to Harley Quinn. Both characters were only meant to be animated cameos for 1 or 2 episodes. However, both of them have been upped and immortalized in the cannon they are part of. Their live action performances are spectacular.

It’s good to see her back all grown up in Deadpool and Wolverine.
