Trump usually tends to stray off-topic, but this deeper talk allowed him to do that yet end up getting back to the main topic because JR didn’t cut him off and he made him feel comfortable. Such a great shift from how Trump was at the start of the new presidential race. People were criticizing him for constantly talking about the loss and still being sour about it. He has completely turned it around and shifted gears. Did what everyone said he needed to do.
Real questions. real dialogue. The closest thing to real journalism we have are podcasters like Joe Roger. Everyone has an angle (both sides). I can’t wait to just hear a normal conversation and someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions.
One of the most interesting interviews. Really like the behind-the-scenes details; this is stuff you can’t get anywhere else. Just amazing! This should be mandatory—long-form conversations with presidential candidates. I also like the idea of 1 on 1 presidential debates where both candidates sit down at a table and talk with no crowd or hosts.
Conversation with Kamala Harris:
The interview between Joe Rogan and Donald Trump was a huge storm on the internet. The podcaster, Joe, has now shocked the world by revealing he wouldn’t have Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris appear on his show.
This statement came on social media website X while Harris’ campaign made quite some demands, such as having him visit her, where their conversation would take exactly an hour.
“They offered a date for Tuesday, but I would have had to travel to her and they only wanted to do an hour. I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,” Rogan stated, adding that the Harris campaign “has not passed on doing the podcast.”
“My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being. I really hope we can make it happen.”
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and supporter of the Donald Trump, left a comment saying, “Good clarification. I would definitely watch that podcast.”
