iOS 19 May Support All Current iOS 18 Devices

Tech News: iOS 19 May Support All Current Apple iOS 18 Devices. There are rumors that Apple might be expanding its years of support (and security updates) for each iPhone model.

iOS 19 sounds exciting, but there are still so many features iPhone 11 users won’t get to fully enjoy. Some limitations just come with the age of the device. I hope and pray it’s another iOS 12-esque update. Fix the bugs. Refine the experience. Smooth out some animations. And for the love of all things holy, bring some consistency back to the UI overall.

I think iOS 18 should be used as a strong update series for refinement and true perfection of the operating system and all the features within it, then iOS 19 should introduce a plethora of new features built on the new solid foundation.

There are zero Android phones from 2018, 2019, or even 2020 that run the current 2024 Android 15 update. And most of the 2021 and 2022 Android phones aren’t compatible with the Android 15 update either. Android phones are overrated AF considering they don’t even last more than 2-3 years.

The Galaxy S24 has 7 years of software updates and security updates, but that’s nowhere near some of the iPhones, which received 10 years of updates.

iPhone 17 Pro New updates:

The iPhone 17 Pro will apparently retain the triangular camera design. Back design will be changed, but the camera module will not come with the horizontal bar design that was rumored.

Well, it’s really hard for any phone brand to come up with a camera design for the back of the phone that is practical and stylish. I’m not saying that the current design is stylish, but it’s definitely practical. But, Apple sticking with the triangular camera layout suggests it’s still the optimal design for their hardware.

At this point I’m not expecting anything of value when it comes to innovation and Apple. It’s clear they are in real trouble. And this isn’t a problem you solve overnight. This is an epidemic of an eroding culture and bad leaders across the business. Managers of managers leading to nowhere.
